About the challenge
Code Cubed is hosting an online hackathon from June 12th to 14th, open to all 9th-12th graders. Your challenge for this hackathon is to build a music themed app!
Requirements
What to Build
Your job is to build a music themed app! This can be any type of app involving music, such as a musical keyboard, online violin, etc.
What to Submit
In your submission form you’ll be submitting:
-
Your team name
-
Your team members (or just you if you’re going solo)
-
Your team leader’s email (for contact)
-
A screen recording or presentation of your app working in its entirety.
-
A file of the actual app, that can be played without external software. If applicable, you can submit a link to your usable app.
We incentivize creativity and innovation. Having an idea that both functions/performs well AND achieves something innovative that others in this tournament haven’t thought of will make your project stand out from the others.
We do not tolerate plagiarism in any manner. Any evidence that you have used someone else’s game without their permission (and even so, without any modification on your part) will result in your disqualification. Use of AI is allowed to an extent, but the abuse of AI (i.e. having AI build your entire game for you) is not.
